How To Get Your Snapchat Working (What To Do)

Are you having problems with snapchat? Not able to get it running right? Here is the easy way to fix it.

Just try a fix and if it doesn’t work try the next one until your problem is solved.

Fix #1: Restart Your Phone

Believe it or not this solves 90% of Snapchat problems. Just turning your phone off and then on clears a lot of errors and issues away. Do this before doing anything else so you don’t waste your time.

Fix #2: Clear The Cache

(Android Only)

That sounds geeky and difficult but it’s really easy to do.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap on Apps
  3. Swipe to the right until you get to the ALL section
  4. Find Snapchat and tap on it
  5. Tap on Force Stop
  6. Tap on Clear Cache
  7. Go back to the home screen and open Snapchat again

Fix #3: Delete And Then Re-Install the App

Sometimes the App gets damaged and the only thing you can do is to uninstall and then reinstall the app. Fortunately this takes less than 2 minutes to do so you’ll be up and snapping before you know it.

One of these three fixes should do the trick and solve 99.9% of all Snapchat problems. Let me know if you run into a problem that this doesn’t solve.

You can also take a look at my other article about Snapchat where I talk about fixes for a specific Snapchat login problem. You can find it here: https://www.thefakegeek.com/2015/10/how-to-fix-snapchat-not-logging-inconnecting-being-stuck-on-verifying-device/

If one of these tips fixes your problem please let us know in the comments below. Sharing your experience will help other people when they run into the same problem.

And if you have any other problems you would like help with don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments below. I’m always looking for new problems to write about.

  1. Hi I have a Nokia 8.1 and my Snapchat friends screen has a black background and is full screen do overlaps the top search bar.
Also in chat the keyboard is overlapping the chat box so I cant see what I’m typing.
I’ve contacted Nokia with no response yet and have gone round in circles trying to message Snapchat.
I’ve seen this problem in only one forum but with no resolution to the problem.
