Here’s How to Transfer Your iTunes Music To Your Samsung Galaxy S6

If you’re moving from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy or you just want to sync your music between your Mac and your new phone you might be frustrated with the inability of iTunes to share music with anything but an iPhone.

Fortunately it’s easy to transfer music from iTunes to your phone. Here’s how to do it.

First register for a Google Account. Most people already have one.

Then download the Google Music Manager: https://play.google.com/music/listen?u=0#/manager

Run the Music Manager.

Click continue.

Login to your Google account.

If you’ve never run Google Music before it will now tell direct you to a quick setup page. Complete the setup and return to the Music Manager app.

DO NOT sign up for the $9.99 offer. The free version is just fine. You don’t need the trial either. Just decline it.

Note: if you don’t yet have a credit card in your Google account you will need to enter one now. But you won’t be charged anything. This is just for Google to make sure you’re real.

Select iTunes from the options and then click continue.

Select that Yes you want to upload new songs from iTunes automatically. This will keep your iTunes synced with your phone.

Click continue.

Wait for the upload to complete and then click continue.

And you’re done!

Now on your phone go into the Google Play Store app and download the Google Play Music app. Login into it and allow it to download all of your music. Depending on how much music you have this might take a little bit of time.

But now your music is on your phone!
